Ogoja BCS Bounces Back
David Arekong
After many years of not being heard at the World Headquarters, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Ogoja Area is now getting active, as True Christ Witness Kufreh Abasi Akpan assumes duties in the area.
It would be recalled that on Wednesday 10th November 2010, while addressing a congregation in the early hours of the day, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu announced among others, the posting of Kufreh Abasi to the Ogoja area.
He said; “As you know brethren, we have not been hearing things about this place. From now on, through these people, we want to be hearing things, development from these

places…”
A report made available to the New Kingdom Trumpet and signed by Kufreh Abasi Akpan noted that there are six functional Bethels in Ogoja – Abakpa Bethel, which is the only Pentecostal centre, Okpoma, Mbube, Aburumbed, Nkporo Ibil and Unit Bethels.
Speaking on tithe remittance, Kufreh warned them against using the tithe for any projects, even as he guided them on the procedure for remittance.
According to the report, BCS Ogoja area has large hectares of land in the various sub-zones that need development, though they are yet to be surveyed.
Continuing, he noted that plans are underway to renovate the Area Pentecostal centre, Abakpa to meet the desired standard.
New Kingdom Trumpet Investigations revealed that healing sessions and evangelism are at their peak in the area as brethren participate actively and have series of testimonies to give.
In appreciation, the area is preparing for a “Thank You” visit to the Father by the first week of March this year.
Members and non-members in the area testify to the glory of God as their sickness are healed and diverse spiritual problems solved. >>>> View Pictures
