The lawmakers were urged to expunch the immunity clause provided by the constitution for presidents and governors as it has fanned the flames of corruption and left their excesses unchecked. The Father disclosed this in the early hours of Wednesday, 6th October, 2010 at 34 Ambo Street in Calabar while reacting to the spate of kidnapping in the country and the 1st October bomb blast in Abuja.

Pointing out that there was no kidnapping in the days of Nigeria’s economic boom and that politicians started kidnapping and control of resources, the King of kings warned that the trend has to stop otherwise the Supreme Father Olumba Olumba Obu will not avert the impending revolution in Nigeria.

He recalled the Father’s declaration that “no more successful coup in Nigeria” saying that politicians have abused the privilege by looting the nation’s treasury without concern for the welfare of the citizens adding that He will turn a blind eye to any bloody revolution to right the wrongs in Nigeria.

“I remember years ago when Father declared, “no more coup in Nigeria”. Now, all those who say they don’t believe in Brotherhood, is that not the reason why they are doing what they are doing now? ‘Make a governor, he would stay there and loot the treasury, eat the money as he likes. So, this has to stop. I say it has to stop otherwise, there is coup ahead. There is coup ahead and Father is going to pay blind eye. He will not avert it, so that all corrupts governors will give way’.

‘Tell Jonathan to stay clear. Tell him to stay away from corrupt governors. All those he is supporting for second term, he should leave them. In fact, he should tell them to get out, they should not run. This country should be run by people who fear God’,” His Holiness, King Olumba Olumba Obu advised.

The only way to stop kidnapping and corruption according to Him is to remove all corrupt government officials and all monies stolen should be accounted for so that the resources would reach the common man.

His word: “Dear brethren, tell Jonathan to keep his hands clean, let him not support any governor. All the corrupt governors must go and give account of all the monies that they have misused, otherwise, I say Father is going to pay blind eye. I don’t want to hear “I think they said Father said ‘no coup’, no, because the thing is too much. How can we forget ourselves like that?

‘Also, tell the lawmakers to remove that immunity clause for governors because that immunity clause makes them to play God, look at themselves as they are gods, they do anything they want. The immunity clause should be removed so that they too can be sued, they can be checked. Now, nobody checks them, they do whatever they like. Money meant for the people, they keep it and use for themselves. This is the way to correct Nigeria, otherwise, the coup coming, Father will pay blind eye.”

Reacting to the bomb blast in Abuja, He noted that it was a warning signal and that in the quest to fish out the culprit something else would trigger off that will shake the nation the more.

The King of kings ordered His children to go on outing, sing and pray for the Father to give alternative means of livelihood to kidnappers and bless those they have kidnapped and released. Also, prayers were offered for Nigeria government for the Father to have mercy on them.
