MY REDEEMER LIVETH N1 MILLION STAR PRIZE FOR CHOIRS READY

His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, has promised to splash the princely and mouth watering largess of one million Naira on any choir from wherever continent that would win the CNCF choral exercise billed to mark the forth coming global event ‘My redeemer Liveth’.
The elaborate event is scheduled to hold in April 2010 at the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Headquarters, Calabar Nigeria.
The Father made this promise recently when the Rivers State CNCF executives paid him a visit in His vestry.
The Father urged all Nigerian choirs to brace up because already choirs from other countries such as United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Ghana, Cameroon, Liberia and other formidable Brotherhood of the Cross and Star outposts have been formally invited, issued with a common set piece/marching song, and requested to mandatorily participate.
The Father said the one million naira was specifically for the choir that would be adjudged the best performing by a choral jury, but that there would additionally be other major prizes for the runners-up.
It is important to recall briefly that in recent times, the Father has financially rewarded choirs and choristers as a way of continually spurring and encouraging them.
During the April and August 2009 CNCF Region 1 choral grading exercise held at the World Headquarters 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, He doled out close to N3 million to well-performing choirs. And this had come as a surprise.
States under region 1 include Akwa Ibom, Cross River State, Bayelsa and Rivers States. It is believed that to round off the year, during the last quarter of December 2009 He would similarly dole out the largess.
In December 2007, He merely appreciated 8 states central choirs, which paid Him obeisance in His vestry when He celebrated the tripartite events of Holy Father’s Birthday, Biakpan Pilgrimage and the CNCF week with N0.16 million.
According to a dependable source, the Father wants to reward choral excellence and choristers’ consistency and dedication in the Kingdom service over these many decades.
To lend credence to His earlier vow to the choristers few years ago that He would steadily make them millionaires, the source went on, the Father has insisted that they judiciously apply both the regular financial rewards and His gospel.
As a way of making this vow a reality, He has consistently and personally met with choristers every last Sunday of each month.
