BCS - ORIGIN

Boundless and depthless kingdom of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has its origin in its founder; whose physical emergence on the earth plane dates back to the 2nd decades of the 20th century.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the sole spiritual Head of the Universe sowed the mustard seed of the kingdom though in 1956 at 8 Eton Street, Calabar, Nigeria, but had from the incredible age of 3 commenced Hi s divine mission.
This seed of the kingdom was planted though in the soil of resistance and rebellion, Leader Olumba its founder nurtured it with unprecedented love, patience, endurance, patience and a vivid vision of global unity, watching it sprout into a giant tree that now shelters men of all races, cline, tongues and culture. Truly, Brotherhood has emerged from obscurity to notably and enviable prominence.

Tracing the origin of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star basically from its physical emergence paints a dim and skeletal image of the kingdom. It is a spiritual kingdom whose roots are found richly embedded in the Divine. The Brotherhood kingdom finds fulfillment in the promise of the Lord Jesus Christ- He promised to go and prepare a place then come back and take us unto Himself. The Kingdom He promised to go and prepare is Brotherhood of the Cross and Star;

Let not your hearts be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3)

It is the new heaven and new earth; the new kingdom of God on earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, peace and love. It embraces all creation. It is universal. Brotherhood knows no boundary or barrier. John saw the new kingdom descending from heaven:

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and First earth have passed away, and there was no more sea. And I John saw The Holy city, New Jerusalem coming Down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride unto her husband. (Rev. 21:1-2)

Brotherhood has its meaning and purpose. Brotherhood means equality; Brotherhood means one, Brotherhood meaning love. Brotherhood means service. It is the Christ Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity.

Brotherhood had maintained a steady growth and expansion from it insignificant genesis at 8 Eton to 26 Mbukpa in 1958; it is a great testimony that Brotherhood has assumed a global dimension to the envy and surprise of many people.
